Data methodology
How Nepal's Capitals sources its data
Where does the data come from?
Nepal's Capitals is origin-only. Every figure traces to a primary source - the asset management company’s own disclosure or a filing from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON). We do not republish numbers from third-party aggregators.
| Data field | Primary source |
|---|---|
| Net asset value (NAV) | Each AMC's own monthly NAV report / fund factsheet |
| Market price (LTP) | Configured market-price API for listed schemes |
| Asset allocation & holdings | AMC monthly portfolio disclosures |
| Dividends | AMC dividend / distribution notices |
| Units & paid-up capital | AMC monthly reports and the SEBON Public Issues workbook |
| Corporate debentures | SEBON Public Issues Data workbook |
| Securities issues (IPO/FPO/rights/MFS) | SEBON official notices and application lists |
How often is it updated?
Market price refreshes each trading day. NAV, allocations and dividends update as each AMC publishes its monthly reports. Corporate debentures and securities-issue pipelines update whenever SEBON publishes new filings.
What we do not do
No aggregators. No scraped secondary data. No NEPSE-derived figures presented as official. And nothing on this site is investment advice.
Informational data only, not investment advice. Nepal's Capitals is not a licensed investment advisor. Confirm any figure with its source before making a decision.
